I am particularly interested in the environmental factors that influence seabird distribution and abundance, and the potential outcomes of climate change on their populations.

Some of my current research topics are:

'The trophic ecology of the endangered endemic Barau's Petrel at Reunion Island, South-western Indian Ocean.'

'New data on plumage polymorphism in the Red-footed Booby (Sula sula) at Tromelin Island, South-western Indian Ocean, and notes on the mating pattern as a possible regulating factor.'

'Biomass consumption by breeding seabirds in the western Indian Ocean: Indirect interaction with fisheries and implications for management.'
