Mr David Green

South Africa

I am a seabird biologist whose primary research interests are focused around movement ecology. I have worked extensively with Cape gannets, studying their foraging distribution in relation to oceanographic parameters, MPA boundaries and the distribution of prey, as well as looking at long-term and seasonal dietary change within this species. In addition to my work on gannets, I spent a year on Marion Island where I acquired considerable field experience working with a variety of sub-Antarctic seabird taxa, including albatrosses, penguins and petrels.
