Dr Freydis Vigfusdottir

My research interests lie in the field of spatial and trophic ecology of animals, with a particular interest in the causes and consequences of intra-population variation in foraging and dispersal behaviours. I am very interested in distribution patterns of seabirds in relation to marine biodiversity and important marine areas. My past research includes studies on foraging ecology and the spatial and temporal influences of limitations of marine resource on productivity in sub-arctic seabird species, e.g. via behavioural observations and dietary analysis.
