I am a quantitative population ecologist who primarily studies the effects of biotic (age, sex, life stage, etc.) and abiotic (habitat, climate, etc.) factors on the vital rates of wild populations. Most of my focus has been on birds, including the long-term demography of Adelie Penguins on Ross Island in Antarctica.
