I am a MSc. student at the Nelson Mandela University at the friendly city of Port Elizabeth. I am studying the decadal shifts in the diets of four penguin species found on the sub-Antartctic Marion Island since the early 1990's. The project is motivated by the reported southward migration of the Antarctic Circumpolar Current (ACC) with its associated fronts. I am thus assessing whether this southward migration has influenced the foraging ecology of the penguins on the island.
