I have a research position at the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET). I work mainly on Ecology, Physiology, Management and Conservation of seabirds, especially on several penguin species. Since 1989 I have been working on the ecology of Patagonian seabirds, including kelp gulls, Magellanic penguins, and imperial cormorants. Currently I lead a research group focused on both natural and anthropogenic effects on the health status of several seabird species.
