I use biologging technology to study seabird movements and behavior, with a focus on foraging ecology, marine habitat use, and energetics. My interests include: how environmental variability, reproductive constraints, and the location of the breeding colony influence seabird behavior and habitat use; niche partitioning among sympatric species; sensory mechanisms of locating prey; spatial planning to protect hotspots of marine biodiversity; and conservation of threatened species.
